it just has to be big enough to hold my kayak, but if the hybrids would come down i would consider them, even though they're eerily quiet.

when this Chevvie ever gives up the ghost, l will probably be dead. But if l have to give up my license, more likely, then l will get a battery operated mobility scooter.

I will own a fully electric vehicle, probably my Volvo 960 converted when the engine gives up and a diesel vehicle for long range driving.

As much as I'd like to get a hybrid, I own a 2002 Acura TL and it will no doubt still be running perfectly for the next 15 years.

“natural gas” was my choice because conversion to it is least expensive, but it is unlikely that i will own any of these. ə

I'll just keep my 94 Mazda Protege 38.7 miles to the gallon but I'm sure as soon as I rebuild it that will go down, even yet it's still a cool car.

I do not think that many people are worried about fuel economy or MPG. If they were they would not be buying all these large pickup trucks and large SUV's all with large engines. They keep downsizing the cars and even a small family can not fit into them. We need full size cars back. The manufactures are supply us with 300 to nearly 600 HP engines but we need full size cars also. I do not care what they run on as long as they run.

Ahhh Soo, I do not buy Japanese or Korean cars. I am American from a German descent so I only recently bought a German car. It is hard to say what kind I may buy since technologies are changing quickly in the auto industry.

Toyota has the choices RIGHT in my opinion that helps for now but we can always do better if the technology continues to develop, the oil companies will come begging one day, at least we can hope...just saying...

With 100 years of oil reserves in the US., I'm in no hurry to switch to a hybrid. Besides, I haven't seen one that will pull my boat. Now a diesel is an option to consider.
