I'm proud to be an American... and as cheesy as Lee Greenwood's song may be, it's still holding true. Except most people have lost sight of what it means to be American. It's not greed and getting one over on the Joneses next door.

Thank-you PD, for remembering our U.S. troops this 4th of July --

Independence Day brings up other issues, as in what I wish for:

*Independence from OPEC
*Independence from Big Oil
*Independence from Corporate rule in this country
*Independence from a broken, 2-party political system that doesn't work for any of it's citizens in the 99%!

God Bless America.Remember obama wants gas at $5-6 a gal, he stopped the pipe line,he stopped drilling in the golf ,he held up drilling permits ,he wasted tax money on green technology,why would anyone want 4 more years of this clown?he has to go vote him out let the obamas pay for their own vacation and see where they go on their dime
