Care to be buddies with a fellow dog lover?

by toadNY  Oct 05, 2010

Yea just over a 1/4 would be closer. Must be 1/3 sounds better.

We all have different needs. My commute to work is 13 miles one way. The Volt is not out yet, but they estimate I will pay about $30 a month more for electricity, but save about $90 a month on gas. Unlike electric only such as Tesla, Leaf, planned Ford Electric Focus, the Volt can still go cross country using gas, and in the future maybe some other alternative fuel. You save the most money close to home which lots of people do most of the time. They have not released the MPG on gas only yet. The estimated sticker price is to high for me right now, but I'm sure it will come down in time.

www.chevrolet.com/pages/open/default/future/volt.do "What happens if I travel more than 40 miles? Once the initial electric charge is depleted, the range-extending gas engine will kick in to seamlessly generate enough energy to continue to power the car for hundreds of additional miles."

GM has no publically traded stock. It will need to have an IPO.

Maybe no stats, wouldn't that be an interesting paper, but it is logical.

Thanks, thought provoking conclusions on the on States with the Most Expensive thread! Now I see as a CPA, why you made them.
