I graduated from the University of California at Riverside, UCR. I was transferred to Tucson in 1980, worked for Pima County from 1983 and retired in 2006. It is a high desert @ 2,500 ft. and gets about 12 in. of rain per year. Half in July and Aug. The other half is in the fall, winter and spring. In June it is very hot and dry. It has been 103 to 107 for the past 7 days, and there could be seven more to come. The humidity is about 4% to 6% so the temp drops by 30 to 40 degrees overnight. We will have our summer Monsoon rain and thunderstorms anytime after the Fourth of July through August. Hope that you have a great week there in Louisville. Your buddy, Warren {:-D
