The Energy Information Administration released its weekly report on the condition of petroleum inventories in the United States today.

Here are some highlights:

CRUDE INVENTORIES:
Crude oil inventories increased by 3.9 million barrels to a total of 369.0 million barrels. At 369.0 million barrels, inventories are 12.1 million barrels above last year (3.4%) and are above the upper limit of the average range.

GASOLINE INVENTORIES:
Gasoline inventories decreased by 3.7 million barrels to 214.0 million barrels. At 214.0 million barrels, inventories are up 5.9 million barrels, or 2.8% more than last year. Here's how individual regions and their gasoline inventory fared last week: East Coast (-2.3mb); Midwest...

So once all the winter grade is used up that is when the price at the pump will go up....some more.

Saw a reduction in diesel here today...From $4.15 to 4.09 per gallon. Gasoline on the other hand has been steady at $3.99 for weeks!

Same as yesterday & usually liquidation means dropping price - not increasing them...but wait it has dropped by pennies last couple changes - so put out the signs " BIG 1.1% OFF Sale".

Prices at the pump will only go down if they run out of storage space for crude.
