. The senator was Vice President, Southwest Northeast Corn Growers, 2005-2006 huh?
Nebraskans, are you paying attention? No corruption going on here of course. No conflict of interest here. He has the welfare of state citizens in mind right? Not the welfare of his friends right?
He is a =commodities broker= [NOTE] and land manager. wikipedia

You should be aware of the presence of Ethanol in gasoline regardless of content amount or law requirement. They are shoving Ethanol down our throat without giving us a choice to pass it up for Non-ethanol. They just approved an increase to 15% and now they want to remove disclosures......what's next, burning books!!!!

KEEP THE LABELS in place
although I can't recall a gas station that wasn't part ethanol. I don't know where a station is that is 100% gasoline

25 to 30 is quite a disparity. I don't see that much of a gap where I travel. But since E10 drops my mileage by 15 to 20 percent, I've stopped caring about prices altogether, since E10 would have to be priced at least 15% lower just to break even, and even a 25 to 30ยข spread doesn't reach that level. Where I can compare, it's no more than a nickel to a dime, so it's a no-brainer. But still (<ethanol pun), good luck anyway ;-)

Yep Sluggo, MO.
100% gasoline is nearly impossible to find locally. There is some on the KS side of the Metro, but their tax structure puts the 100% gasoline brand (Shell) at least 25 to 30 cents more per gallon than anything on this side of the border.

You betcha Clyde. The Gasbuddy threads can be found in the Local Discussion forums. Although if the Kansas City you're in is the one in Missouri, you may be hard pressed to find any :-( But good luck. I find the best chances are at the old, rural stations far from the city.

==> I wonder if anyone actually hunts for 100% pure gasoline stations anymore... <== Hey, I've got several threads I either started or participate in around the states where I drive, compiling this info to help each other out. I haven't had to touch E10 for at least a couple of years. And then pure-gas.org compiles the same thing. So I don't really "hunt" since I already know where my sources are, but I do keep the info current.

Regardless of labels on the gas pumps, I still will test the gas before I put it in my Seadoos. The ethanol should NEVER be put into watercraft!

I hope some stations start listing the gas as 'ethanol free' then if the labels are off on ethanol. Government meddling again doing what is 'best for the populace'.

There is one clear solution: Vote the self-serving bum out.
Until corporations win the right to vote (which is only a matter of time, since they've already unconstitutionally achieved personhood, preferential "free" speech, etc.), we can still do that. Better use it while it still does any good.
LeeFree: You're dead right. However, anyone with half a brain (those who don't usually believe everything a politician tells them) will remember that engines, small ones especially, didn't always run like junk.

That's the corn and ethanol lobbyists pulling the strings on their political puppets. They want you to forget that ethanol is even in the gas.

End corporate welfare and watch ethanol wither on the vine, or stalk rather.
Note to self: Don't visit Nebraska.
